Fender Mex Standard Jazz, indigo metallic, made in 2000. Is it blue, or purple, or... burple? We may never know. Either way, it looks pretty dope. The Mex Standard series ran for a couple of decades from the early 90s and are generally regarded to be very playable, enjoyable sounding instruments. This delivers that brief: it's got a comfy neck, sturdy hardware and sounds like a Jazzy. There's a nice balance of growl and snap on offer. You can't go too wrong here, but do report back about whether it's blue or purple, such things keep me up at night sometimes.
