(SOLD) Epiphone Wilshire P-90 Ebony 2021
Epiphone Wilshire P-90, black, made in China 2021. The Wilshire is an Epi original shape, dating back to 1959. This version gets the sensible combo of a tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge and a pair of P90s, which works a trat. The body is nice and light and the neck is slim and easy, so it's easy to get along with. The pickups deliver plenty of punchy attack, so it's great for punk or grunge stuff, with a pleasing snarly snap to it. The black looks cool too, especially with the cool old style logos and whatnot. Do you like it? Wil-shire you do.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some dimples on the end and rub wear on the back. It suffered a headstock break, which has been repaired by our local pro luthier, so you can see a couple of lines in the finish from the repair, but you have to look pretty close as it's a very tidy job indeed. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs on on the elbow area, back and bottom edges and near the cavity. The sides have scuffs along the top edge and some dimples near the knobs. The front has dimples around the knobs and tailpiece, scuffs on the back edge and elbow area and plenty of play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
