(SOLD) Fender Japan Standard Stratocaster ST-STD Shell Pink 2010
Fender Japan Standard Strat, shell pink, made in Japan 2010-11. What a great colour! I love this time of year for the delicious peaches and apricots, among other delights, and I feel this finish to be a perfect extension of that stonefruit-and-pool-parties aesthetic. It's in great shape too, there really is barely a mark on it. The Japan Standard line was sold in Japan only, taking the classic curves of the '62 style Strat but adding some modern touches like a 9.5 radius, satin finish neck and the 90s era decals. From a feel angle, this rules: light, lively and responsive, super agreeable neck, put together with care and attention... it just works. The tone is spanky, sparkly and effervescent on the top with a punchy and assured bass. Just peachy, really.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has very minor scuffs on the bottom edge. The neck is clean, minor rub wear only. The back has some scuffs on the cavity cover and some surface scratches in the bottom corner. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and near the jack. The jack has minor dimples around the bridge and play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, very minor wear only
