Wayne W-30, made in Korea 1975 approx, natural gloss. Let's start with the big selling point: the label in the soundhole has a picture of a volcano on it and WAYNE is all caps. Wayne might be the best brand name ever. Wayne Music Co was a Melbourne based instrument importer, so they had factories in Japan and then later Korea make some guitars etc under their brand name. This is a simple little classical, with a cool rosette around the soundhole and a stripe on the headstock; it's understated but has a little bit of swagger. It sounds nice: mellow and warm, plenty of attack, clear on the top end. We replaced the tuners on arrival so it's in good order ready for campfire season. Note: Batman was not involved, as best I know.
