What a bargain! Here we have an Amedia Classic 21" medium ride for next to no dollars. You don't see these around ever really so once it's gone–it's gone! These are also handmade in Turkey at Amedia HQ and we all know that cymbals from Turkey are just better.
This guy packs a ton of warmth and snap into a neat little package. It's articulate enough to tell you that buying your 4th ride isn't going to make you a better drummer. You'll get crisp stick definition that makes you go 'ahhh' with a warm understated wash. There's a thick low fundamental in there but without being too explosive, it takes a back seat. The bell is trashy and complex but it still cuts through like a fart at a funeral.
It's a weird mix of traits but hey, it's perfect for someone, and there's no denying that this is a lot of ride for the price point.
