(SOLD) Fender CD140SCE Acoustic/Electric 2010
Fender CD140SCE acoustic/electric, made in China 2010, natural satin finish. Fender are the most famous guitar makers in the world, and although their acoustics don't enjoy the same market saturation as their electric guitars, this is a respectable guitar that works very hard to the dime. It's got a comfy, moderate neck profile and handy cutaway body, so it's an easy player. The solid spruce top has enough hours on the clock to be starting to open up, so this is a surprisingly good sounding guitar. It's got a nice crispy treble and an assured, warm midrange.. does the job nicely. The pickup is handy too.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has minor dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth, just a small dent on the bottom edge of the board at the 12th fret and minor dimples on the back only. The back has a handful of dimples in the middle of the body, no major marks. The sides have scuffs along the bottom edge and on the top in the elbow area as well as some dimples on the top shoulder, nothing nasty. The front is clean and tidy, just some dimples along the back edge, glossing in the elbow area and play wear on the guard and shoulders. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Frets are in good shape, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 12/54 Moonshiners strings.
