Ric 360, Jetglo, made in USA 2005. These don't pop up very often around these parts, so it's always a treat to put one on the shop wall. The Ric 360 is an evergreen swagger machine: it's gotta be one of the coolest looking guitars going around. The bound back and rounded front makes it comfy against your forearm, but it also exudes vintage automotive chíc. The classic black and white combo can look a little plain, but in this case, it's the picture of elegance. It's very well balanced in the hands too. For a larger body guitar, it's nice and light in weight, and the natural balance between body and neck is spot on. The neck is moderately slim and very agreeable, plus there's excellent access all the way to the 24th fret owing to the comfy neck joint and double cutaway. The Hi Gain single coil pickups are a delight: hot enough to get your amp cooking but refined enough to clean up beautifully, crisp and clear through treble frequencies but with an assertive, crunchy midrange... it's especially good for expansive rhythm parts. This one is in pretty slick shape with the original Ric branded SKB case included, so it's certainly a great opportunity to add the elusive 360 into your stash.
