Handmade Effects Takky Drive Pedal

I did it again, and it worked again: I bought it because it has a hilarious name, but it sounds gorgeous... one day my luck will run out, but not today. This is a transparent overdrive, it fits loosely into the Klone genre. There's a switch on the side that changes the output volume from hot to cooler, as well as a three way way switch that changes the clipping and gain. In 'normal' mode, this is very transparent indeed: it adds some crunch but really keeps things super honest and really lets your notes come through clearly. The 'dry edge' mode adds a little bit of definition and high mid grind, enough to add some cut-through. The Harmonix mode pushes this into full, thick juicy saturation: there's heaps of dang gain and a big, fluffy mids; it's almost a totally different pedal. It sounds very, very good... why is it called a Takky drive? Just Japan things, friends.
