Jagard JF-150 000-style acoustic, made in Japan 1977 approx. Jagard branded guitars were made in the famed Terada factory, the same place Gretsch Pro Series guitars come out of today. It's a well regarded factory for good reason: they've been making gorgeous instruments for a long time now. This one is based on the famed Martin 000-28, so it's a small-bodied steel-string made from the classic spruce/rosewood tonewood combo. It's a comfy little player: the small body is easy to get your arms around and the neck is an agreeable, slim, soft-V shape. It's got a crisp, balanced tone that's great for fingerstyle playing or rhythm stuff; it's a tasty mix of body and definition. The few decades have lent the finish a pretty vintage glow, it's got that certain chíc that comes only with genuine age. This would be a great little couch strummer or beginner guitar, it's a very agreeable creature.
