Brian! What a legend. The Bacchus brand was a project under the Deviser Co umbrella, who began making guitars under their Headway brand in 1977. These days, Bacchus has an offshoot called Global Series, made in a dedicated factory in the Philippines, but before all that, for one year or so in 1998, there was Brian by Bacchus. These were affordable models, made in Taiwan and sold to the local Japan market. Bearing teh Bacchus name, they hd to be good: the build on this really is very decent. The J-style basses are relatively common-ish, but this is the first P-style Brian we've managed to score. It's got a slim, Jazz-style neck with a 38mm nut, which has plenty of play wear on the clock and feels fantastic. The tone is classic: warm, wide, creamy, fat. The finish has plenty of natural wear to show for it's couple of decades of play, it looks awesome. Come on friend, use your Brian.

Model: Brian by Bacchus BPB-380
Made: Taiwan, 1998 approx
Serial: none
Finish: vintage white, gloss poly
Body: alder
Neck: maple, rosewood fretboard, 34" scale, 38mm nut, 12" radius, slim C
Weight: 4.065kg
Mods: none
Pickups: Bacchus split coil
Accessories: none, no case

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear.
