Fender '72 Tele Custom, crafted in Japan 06-08, black. This is a classy girl! The gloss black is superb and pops nicely against the eye-catching white pearl guard; it's an upmarket twist on the regular tuxedo-tele look. The Tele Custom makes a lot of sense: slim comfy neck, nice bright single coil in the bridge, big thick warm humbucker in the neck, easy switching... it's a good friend to have. The tone this doles out is sweet; the pickups really contrast and complement each other perfectly. The maple board adds a little 'ping' to the tone; the neck is great in the hands and the guitar feels nicely balanced. This is a perfect rhythm guitar, it really opens up an amp beautifully. Sleek!
