This one dates to 2011, so it gets a super quick neck and a very handy set of Fat 50s pickups, wound at the Custom Shop. They're great pickups: hefty low end kick, creamy mids, sweet and defined highs; they only had these pickups on deck for a year or two before the bottom line called time on the experiment. Our local ninja luthier Paul Mineur installed a set of tall stainless frets, so this is playing extremely smoothly up and down the whole neck and should last basically indefinitely.
