fender-champ-1x8-guitar-combo-amp-drip-edge-1968
Fender Champ 1x8" Guitar Combo Amp Drip Edge 1968

Fender Champ, 1968, USA. It's the quintessential little valve amp, and it's kinda perfect. The 1967-9 version of the Champ got a silver panel, but was basically the same circuit as the previous Blackface version under the hood; these were known as the 'Drip Edge' Silverface Champ. It's a great sound: heaps of midrange punch, smooth and growly when pushed, fast lows and chiming highs. This will record brilliantly and is loud enough for smaller gigs or rehearsals. Yum.

NOTE: this amp runs on 110v USA standard power, so you'll need a step-down transformer to run it in Australia. They're easy to get, but not included with the sale.

Model: Fender Champ (AA764 circuit)
Made: USA, 1968, Fullerton factory
Type: tube
Serial: A14903
Output: 6w
Power: 110v (USA/Canada) *NOTE: requires 240v-110v step-down transformer for use in Australia/NZ
Speakers: 1x8" Fender Special Design
Tubes: 1x 6L6 output stage, 2x 12AX7 preamp
Mods: none
Channels: 1
Weight: 8kg
Accessories: basic cloth cover

Condition notes: All tested and fully functional.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1270/8995/files/FenderChamp1x8_DripEdge1968-TopshelfInstruments-01.jpg?v=1791176602
