Fender Japan '62 Stratocaster ST62-58US Sonic Blue 2003
Fender '62 Strat, sonic blue, crafted in Japan 2002-4. This is a little slice of sunshine. Sonic blue always looks good, especially paired with a dark streaky rosewood board and crisp white plastics... it's hard to resist the charm. The neck on this is slim, sound and super comfy; these '62 style models win many fans for their neck shape as it's just so easy to get along with. Plugged in, this delivers plenty of bright, crisp attack and a little dollop of swift, articulate attack. It's got a certain understated sparkle to it which will sit on top of a mix just right. You really can't go too wrong here; this colour doesn't come up that often, so find your best sunglasses and play some chirpy tunes.
