Fender '70 Reissue P, capri orange, crafted in Japan 2004-05. Well, that's a loud finish! This bass usually only comes in olympic white, so it's certainly unusual to see this muscle-car-orange hue on offer. Other examples of this finish we've had through have had a few more 'miles' on them, this one is looking fresh and vibrant; it's a very bright shade indeed. Aside from looking great, this has the deluxe touches that put it easily on par with any USA-made bass: alder body, USA pickups, rosewood slab board... it all adds up to a thick, rich tone with a heap of growl and thump; perfect-P goodness. The '70 style neck is a nudge slimmer than the more common '62 and '57 models, so it's conducive to quicker playing and feels effortless in the hands. If you're bored with the standard black/white/sunburst options you see everywhere and don't mind a few comments everytime you bring your bass out, this one is sure to turn some heads.
