Fender '57 Reissue Strat '57 in non-catalog 'lucerne aqua firemist' finish, made in Japan 1991. This looks totally amazing! It's a deep turquoise, significantly darker than the more common 'ocean turquoise'; this one has become a little greener with all the years of play. These Fujigen-era Strats play like butter; this one is a perfect example. The '57 style neck is moderate and round, it's instantly familiar and perfect for lead lines. The pickups produce a glassy, tight, articulate punch; it's warm and sweet with plenty of spank. I wouldn't count on seeing another one of these in this finish anytime soon, so if you like it, don't wait too long.
Model: Fender Stratocaster '57 Reissue (STD57)
Made: Japan, neck dated 7 Jun 1991 (serial K001714)
Finish: lucerne aqua firemist (pretty sure!), 1-ply white guard
Neck: maple with maple board, dot inlays
Pickups: Original Fender Japan ST Vintage

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's a proper chip (approx 10mm x 30mm) on the shoulder carved area, it's barely visible from the front. There's a couple of minor dings behind the bridge and a few other marks around the body, nothing to worry about. Overall: good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very minor wear only, 9/10. What a sweetheart.
