They are Fender's higher end Mex-made option, borrowing some styling and features from Fender models made 1952-75. This one references the 1972 Telecaster Deluxe, so you get a pair of nifty Wide Range humbuckers, LP-style VVTT controls and a big Strat-style headstock. It's a cool combo: a mix of that classic Tele-twang with some added heft and low end presence. If you're playing punk or grungy stuff, this fits the bill very nicely.
