John Pearse Electric String Set Pure Nickel 10/46
John Pearse make exceptionally fine quality strings. There's no fancy packaging, no coatings, no trickery; just the best quality ingredients and a little bit of magic. It's no exaggeration to say these are the best sounding strings I've ever heard; I've been playing for two decades and have tried just about every major brand and these beat them all. Give your guitar an instant upgrade, you'll be glad you did!
John Pearse electric sets are made from a silvered steel core wound with pure nickel. Pure nickel strings hark back to the 50s, before nickel-plated steel wound sets became the norm. They're round, warm and full in tone; perfect for blues, classic rock, rockabilly and indie. The pure nickel ages slower than a nickel-plated set, so you'll get significantly increased lifespan without the need for coatings.
Most other brands will charge you $20+ for pure nickel strings, but we buy differently to keep the price low!

John Pearse says: I've been fortunate in that I'm able to earn my living doing what I like best, making music; not just as a player but designing and making instruments, strings and accessories too. In many ways I'm a perfectionist, especially about my strings. They must be the very best strings available anywhere; with clear singing highs, rich sonorous lows and able to withstand constant changes of climate in my continent-hopping existence. Very few strings measure up. These do.
