Internal doublers take the regular 9v supply right up to 30v per circuit for added clarity and headroom. The tone... oh boy, it's awesome. It's perfect for an 'always on' signal warmer to add a little natural tube compression and growl. It'll also do a big thick juicy overdrive brimming with harmonics just as happily.
