The clean\/pushed switch on the first channel does as described, steps up cleans to a punchier rock crunch that is simply delightful. The second channel runs Mesa's familiar high gain Rec sounds with a modern\/vintage switch with two well thought out tonal footprints. 'Modern' gives you an ultra aggressive and percussive attack with more cut than the barbershop across the road. 'Vintage' treats you to a lush wall of sound where a single note carries immense weight, unlike you now thanks to Mesa. It even has a carry bag with a shoulder strap.
