Not long later, EBMM kicked off their Sterling (and later Sub) brands, filling that same space, but back in the day, these were a thing. This is an unusual one: Luke is the signature model for Toto's Steve Lukather, legendary shredlord and session maestro. It's basically an HSS Superstrat, but with a cool skinny soft V neck, the chunky EBMM-style tremolo bridge and the minimalist-chic styling. This one has an upgraded set of locking tuners and EMG pickups. The tone is very strong: punchy and immediate on the active single coils, crunchy and fat on the bridge humbucker.
