This Sabian AAX 21" raw bell low ride is very much loud and proud. It has been well loved and with a bit of patina, the tone now presents more in the low end department. You'll hear explosive attack with a warm wash on the bow and a thunderous fundamental near the edge. Crash for maximum boom. The bell is prominent and very strong with moderate dryness. You'll find warmth throughout with dull overtones that coast atop.
Verdict: A great preloved ride for someone often finding themselves powering through tunes on the ride. If you need something that will cut through the mix (live or studio) that can grace different contexts, this guy may be the one.
Condition: general marks from use as well as some logo fading; some patina around the bell and fog on the underside; no keyhole; overall: good condition (6/10)
