This little cutie was made a few years back, when times were a bit simpler. Squier was briefly doing the Affinity in limited quantities in some 1960s custom colours, so this is one of those. It also hails to the era before the CITES rosewood excitement of 2015, so it's got a proper slab of rosewood for the fretboard alongside a legit alder body. It sounds like a Strat: bright and chirpy with a clear attack and sparkly top end. These Chinese made Affinity models are a little tighter and tidier than the later Indonesian examples, although it's still a pretty basic offering.
