This one is a Nex, so it's smaller than a dreadnought, with tight curves and a slim waist, but not as small as a parlour. It feels great to play: it sits in the lap comfortably, with a comfy rounded neck and a generous natural resonance. The solid flame maple back and sides look amazing: that's some very classy timber, no doubt about it. The pickup translates the tone accurately with plenty of warmth and character, and the natural voice is dry, balanced and airy. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands,you can see the line where the satin finish stops near the headstock, as well as a bald patch on the treble side near the tenth fret. The back has dimples in the middle of the body and along the back edge, as well as minor scuffs around the whole body. The sides have a dent on the top shoulder, scuffs in the elbow area, dimples on the bottom bout and scuffs on the bottom shoulder.
