One of our lovable-but-slightly-bananas customers had our local luthier convert it to a fretless setup, with a snazzy ebony veneer over the original fretboard. He also added a drone string for extra chaos, and in a more sensible move, a very handy LR Baggs pickup system. It's a unique thing to play now certainly, but some of the sounds on offer are a lot of fun and may well find a place on your recordings or live shenanegians.
