Hofner Flamenco Acoustic Natural 1960
Hofner Flamenco, made in Germany circa 1960, natural finish. Hofner were right up there with the biggest instrument makers in Europe in the 60s. This is a lovely little flamenco style acoustic, made with some quality locally sourced timbers and executed with care and skill. Being an older guitar with plenty of play on the clock, it's got a lovely breathy fullness and an assertive bright snap when you dig in hard. The neck is very comfy, not super wide or fat for a guitar in this style, but full enough in the hand to feel right. This isn't a super fancy thing, but it's a very enjoyable vintage instrument with plenty left to give.
