Martin 000-17E, Black Smoke, made in USA 2022. What a little cutie this one is! Martin's 000 shape dates back to 1902, and has been made pretty much continually since then for a reason: it's super comfy, and it sounds terrific. The 17 series features a solid sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany for the back and sides, delivering a gorgeous dry, warm, balanced tone with a lovely articulate voice. The neck is slim and comfy and the body sits perfectly on your lap; the hours will fly by. The pickup is one of Fishman's higher-end offerings too, and it's a simple but effective solution to deliver the goods to a wider crowd. The satin black finish looks super slick and feels great too, and the contrasting binding and guard really make it pop perfectly. Black goes with everything, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs from a hanger on the back near the neck join. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs and dimples on the back only. The back has rub wear on the top and bottom edges, no major marks. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and bottom corner, as well as a small dent on the bottom shoulder. The front has dents around the bridge and along the back edge, as well as play wear on the guard and shoulders.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Setup with 12/54 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
