Ovation Celebrity CC-44L Left Handed Acoustic/Electric Black 2011
Ovation Celebrity, lefty, black, made in China 2011. Ovation guitars were a huge deal in the 70s and 80s, finding favour with a bunch of players owing to their fast, slim necks and precise, balanced tone. This example dates to the 00s-era re-boot, and it's nice for those same reasons: it's easy to play, and it sounds very crispy clear. The leaf motifs, double binding and quirky shape make for a slick look too. This won't be everyone's cup of tea, but hey if you're into it, it's a good guitar.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the end and back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back and sides don't really show marks easily, although there's a dimple in the elbow area. The front has minor play wear around the strings.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Setup with 12/54 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
