Airis Effects Saiyan Drive Pedal

Airis Effects are a small handmade-style operation out of Canada. They have a pedal called a Brutal Drive: it's a take on the TS808 style drive, but with different controls and a tonne of gain range. The controls on a Brutal Drive are labelled dirt, volume, bright and tight: the first two are pretty self explanatory. The bright control adds high end rasp and presence. The tight control winds out bass and cleans it up as you go to the right, so it makes sense to start with that at zero, totally open, and turn it up til you get the preferred level of controlled chaos. This is more for pushing a dirty amp to the desired level of filth and insanity than for use with a clean amp, but it does both nicely. Oh yeah, and it's a limited run version with goshdarn Goku on it, relabelled controls and the energy ball lights up when you turn it on.

"I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am the protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness." - Goku
