Fender American Standard Jazz Bass, 2012 model, in classic three tone sunburst. This is a great example of a timeless instrument. It's light and resonant, with a perfect slim neck that feels amazing. The neck has a subtle flame to the maple that comes out in the light. Fender switched to using Custom Shop pickups in 2012, and they're a great addition; it's round, warm, full, punchy... classic J tones all day. The thin finish brings out the grain in the alder body, it's a nice piece and that'll look even better with a few years of play. The new equivalent American Professional model goes for no less than $2.7k, so this is a great little bargain considering it's basically in showroom condition, so don't wait too long!
