Yamaha FG-152B, natural finish, made in Japan 1979 approx. These smaller size FG series guitars are really lovely little things. This one copped a crunch in transit to the shop, so we've had our local luthier do a basic glue and finish job on the back edge to get it structurally and functionally sound again. It's not perfect visually, but certainly works fine and is priced accordingly. If you're after a nice little guitar for the couch or the campfire, this sounds great and plays easily.

Model: Yamaha FG-152B
Made: 1979 approx, Japan (serial (90507)
Finish: natural, gloss poly
Body: folk size, spruce top, mahogany back and sides
Neck: mahogany, rosewood fingerboard, dovetail joint, 25" scale, 15" radius
Weight: 1.840kg
Pickup: none
Mods: back edge repaired, one strap pin replaced
Case: none

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some marks on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has a repair from transit damage along the back edge, so the back section has been re-glued to the side and there's some damage visible under the glue and finish job. Aside from that it's just minor scuffs around the body. The sides have minor dimples around the body, no major marks. The front is nice and tidy, just a few dimples behind the bridge and some play wear on the guard and shoulders. Overall: good condition (7/10).

Playing condition notes: action is moderately low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. The frets look great, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 12/54 Moonshiners strings.
