Fender Bassman 100 Amplifier Head 1975
Fender Bassman 100, made in USA 1975. This one was a bit of a labour of love for our favourite Reuben Hopkins of Brookfield Audio. The original circuit boards had some water damage, so Reuben took all the original components and attached them to new turret boards. He also replaced all the tubes and all the filter, and put cleaned up the aesthetics with some new knobs. Basically, it's had a full re-build, and is now in tip-top shape, and you should be pretty right for many years henceforth. It sounds terrific: thick, warm, percussive, clear, round, chiming highs... it's just about as good a clean amp as you could ask for. It's a perfect pedal platform and would surely record like a dream. I love these Silverface era Bassman amps, and I'd wager you will too.
