Mesa Boogie Dual Caliber DC-3 35w 1x12 Guitar Amp Combo
We like this, this is good. The Dual Caliber series was a forerunner to the Single and Dual Rec stuff that really took the hard rock world by storm. This little cutie weighs a lot for a small combo, but it also delivers a lot of sound. The cleans are pretty Fender-esque, with chime and clarity aplenty and a tight low end. The dirty channel has plenty of gain on tap, so you can get those singing sustained leads or fat and chuggy rhythm parts popping nicely despite the size. It does a crunchy, dirty-clean or clear-dirty tone really nicely too, it's a totally different sound to a Marshall or Vox but has it's own lively, expressive voice in such pursuits. Very handy indeed.
