Mesa Boogie Transatlantic TA-30 1x12" Guitar Combo Amp
The Transatlantic: UK and USA sounds in one crazy box. This little thing is choc-full of engineering, and it delivers so many different sounds to work with to such a high standard that it's a bit silly, really. Channel one does Vox 'top boost' style tones: chimey, half clean, half dirty type tones, but with easy control over the volume and less kilos than an AC30. There's a Fender-ish clean, as well as a dirty channel that delivers Marshall-voiced mid-gain crunch as well as saturated classic Boogie lead sounds. A Mesa is an obvious choice for high gain stuff, but this model was super underrated and does an outstanding job of just about whatever you ask of it.
