Orange Thunderverb 50 Guitar Amp Head
It's big, it's Orange, and it's ready to punch, crunch and munch. This wasn't the biggest amp Orange made in 2008, but it was certainly starting to get up there: two channels, all tube, fifty watts, heaps of go. The clean channel is juicy and full with a nice touch of warmth around the edges. The dirty channel is thick and hefty, with impressive gain range and that certain midrange bulk that Orange does so well. In my books it's particularly good with a Tele or anything with P90s, although it's a sound that brings out the beef in many different guitars.
