Fender Japan Classic 60s Jazz Bass, Burgundy Mist Metallic, 2015. What a pretty bass! This model replaced the long running JB62 basses, so it gets some appointments accordingly: gold logo, rosewood slab fretboard, alder body, spiral-saddle bridge and a three ply pickguard. This one had the pickguard switched for a vintage style red tort number, as well as a wiring upgrade and some new slightly hotter pickups. It sounds great: very fast and fat down low, nice growly mids and a tasty tart top end. The finish has a few bruises, but dang: what a colour. You don't see that many Fender Japan instruments around in Burgundy Mist, so we're always pleased to offer one up where we can. Slick!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and bottom edge. The is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has dimples on the bottom horn, rub wear on the top horn, dimples in the elbow area and back edge and some dimples and a small dent in the bottom corner. The sides have minor dimples around the whole body and some minor chips in the elbow area and minor dents near the jack. The front has dimples near the jack and on the back edge, rub wear around the bridge pickup, dimples in the elbow area and play wear on the guard and horns..
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)
Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
