Fernandes FRB-55, purple, made in Japan circa 1993. Fernandes' Revolver series were pitched at the hard rock crowd back in the late 80s and early 90s, and while they don't enjoy the same notoriety outside Japan as stuff like Ibanez or ESP, they were very well made instruments. This one is a medium 32" scale bass, with a cute undersized body and a slim fast neck. It's very nicely balanced and feels responsive in the hands, and weighs in at a crazy 3.1kg. The pickups are good: on the hot side of passive stuff,
