The Rockstar-DX series was TAMA's budget offering for those after maximised bang-for-their-yen. These snares came standard with the kit configurations but nowadays often kick about separate from their original kits. They sound fantastic for what was once considered entry level gear. With a good set of heads, these have the attack and 'crack' typical of a steel shell with a body and warmth that you wouldn't necessarily expect. We love these. They're some of the best budget vintage snares we've had experience with.
