Burny KRS-Truth, made in Japan 2011, silverburst. This striking beasty is the signature model for Ka-Yu, bass player for Japanese visual kei behemoths Janne Da Arc, as well as a subsequent solo project Damijaw. It borrows the horn shape from the iconic Rickenbacker 4003, but there's a bunch of other elements in there: Fernades' Ravelle shape around the back end, a Warwick-style bridge/tailpiece and a Gibson-ish silverburst finish. It's nicely put together and feels tight and tidy in the hands, with pretty easy access all the way up the neck to boot. The controls are quirky: volume, kill switch, six way rotary tone/pickup switch. You can get Jazz, P and Musicman style tones with the twist of the clicker, it's pretty cool. Leather pants not included, sorry.
