Eastwood Delta-6, sunburst, made in China around 2015. Back in the late 60s, Semie Mosley of Mosrite briefly owned the rights to the Dobro name. Semie, being the renegade he was, designed a model combining a resonator cone with a 335-ish semi hollow electric body, originally as a signature mode for then-big-deal Glen Campbell. The deal fell over when Glen moved to Ovation, so the model was released briefly as the Mosrite Californian. These days, Eastwood are in the biz of bringing back models from the grave, so they've re-jigged the electronics and updated the design and called it a Delta-6. It's a maple semi-hollow body, with a single cone resonator, amplified by a combo of a bridge-piezo and a neck soapbar. You can pull some pretty hectic swampy blues sounds... dime the gain with too much piezo in the mix and it tends to feed back, but hey, you can work with that right? Bourbon not included.

This listing is an archived entry. We love to look back and remember fondly what characters we've had through the store, so we keep them around for reference.
