Edwards E-LP-108SD, silver sparkle, made in Japan 2012. Edwards is the vintage style brand under the ESP Guitars umbrella, so they mostly trade in Fender and Gibson inspired offerings and are sold mostly to the domestic Japan market. This is a cool little limited-run model, wearing a superb coat of silver sparkle on the top. The finish looks frightfully fabulous in the flesh, the silver has yellowed somewhat to a mellow champagne gold, and the big glass-glitter style flake catches the light so beautifully. The back appears to be one solid piece of mahogany, which is usually reserved for high-end models, so that's a cool little bonus. The stock Duncan JB/'59 pickups are excellent as always, with a sweet clarity and complexity on the neck pickup and a girthy, rich fullness on the bridge. I'm a big fan of this, it's a really satisfying guitar.

Model: Edwards E-LP-98SD

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs on the back only. The back has a couple of longer light surface scratches in the middle of the body, as well widespread minor dimples and scuffs around the whole body. The sides have a few scuffs near the jack, a decent dent and some scuffs in the elbow area and some scuffs on the top horn. The front really doesn't show marks easily, so aside from a small chip on the edge in the elbow area, there's no major visible marks, but likely a few minor dimples around the place as well as some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (7.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
