Epiphone 1966 SG Pro, made in China 2007, cherry red. This is the high end SG offering from Epiphone, so you get a proper mahogany body, tasty alnico pickups and sturdy hardware including some Grover tuners. Unusually, this is a 'Custom Shop' limited run with the 'batwing' mid 60s style guard. It looks awesome; there's a certain mean look that the guard really accentuates. Tone-wise, this has a heap of growling, punchy midrange on tap; perfect with a smattering of gain. It's an easy player and pretty nicely balanced in the hands. These are fetching a heap of cash new these days, so an older model in good shape sporting a legit rosewood board looks pretty attractive. AC/DC tab book not included, sorry!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has a couple of minor dimples on the end. Neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has a few light scuffs and surface scratches, nothing nasty. The sides are pretty clean, just some minor dimples on the shoulder and near the jack. The front is pretty clean, just some light scuffs around the shoulder and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. Frets have very little wear, 8/10 for fret life left. All electronics tested and working properly. Setup with fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings
