Epiphone ES-339, TV pelham blue, made in China 2013. The 339 is the fun size version of the 335, so it's about 5cm smaller across the body and a pound lighter. It feels great in the hands: it's easy to move around on, the neck is round and agreeable and it's lively and responsive to the touch. This one is a 'Custom Shop' example, which basically means it's a limited run finish. What a finish too, right? It's the classic crispy metallic pelham blue, but with the grain on show, TV yellow style. The sound is somewhere in the Dot genre, but with a bit of extra focus and punch, borrowed from it's LP cousins. This is the best example of an Epi 339 I've played, it's really quite nice.

The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor discolouration and rub wear on the back only. The back has some dimples on the top edge and near the jack and some discolouration on the horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
