Epiphone Flying V, refinished in harlequin black and red, made in Korea 1999. Eye catching enough for you? This delightfully gaudy machine has been professionally refinished in a half-red, half-black style that really accentuates the classic lines. The hardware has been upgraded too, so  holds tune nicely and plays very smoothly. The neck is slim and quick, and if you're standing up, you can get all the way to the top frets no problems. The tone on offer is dark and dirty, with a weighty low end and a sludgy midrange that's perfect for doom or classic rock stuff. Anyway, let's finish up this description the most appropriate of movie quotes.... "Voila! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V."

This listing is an archived entry. We love to look back and remember fondly what characters we've had through the store, so we keep them around for reference.
