Epiphone SG G-400 Pro, ebony finish, made in China 2012. This right here is made for playing loud. It's got a fairly chunky neck which eats up big fat chords; the tone has that classic growl and natural bass that's perfect for aggressive rhythm playing. The pickups are splittable to a single-coil too; a feature that regularly yields some questionable results, but in this case, it really works well. The single-coil tone is really tasty, it's got a sweet openness to it and isn't drastically lower in output than the humbuckers. This is one of the higher-end Epiphone SGs, so you're getting a proper mahogany body and set neck; it's made with some care and attention and has some good quality hardware. If you're after a simple rock-machine that'll deliver a lot of fun for not much cash, this surely will do the job with great enthusiasm.
