Epiphone Viola, made in China 2019, vintage sunburst. This is a really fun little bass. Taking it's queues from the classic 1960s Hofner Violin Bass, or 'Beatle Bass', it's got a pair of mini-humbuckers and a hollow maple body. It's lightweight, lively in the hands and easy to get around on. The short 30.5" scale means it's a little slinkier and friendlier on the fingers than a regular full length bass, plus it contributes to the thumpy, warm tone. Plugged in, you get a warm, rounded, friendly thump, perfect for jazz or folk stuff, plus it pulls that early Beatles tone convincingly. The Beatle Bass is a really fun design and a welcome addition to a player's collection, and this one is surprisingly well executed... fun!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of minor dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks., The back has a few light scuffs near the neck joint and back edge. The sides have no major marks, just a few dimples on the top horn and some light scuffs on the bottom horn. The front has some light scuffs from play in the elbow area, a dimple near the controls on the edge and some play wear on the horns, no major marks. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for life left. Wearing lightly used flatwound strings.
