Music Man Albert Lee, walnut, made in USA 2018. Albert Lee is country and session guitar royalty, doing stints playing with Emmylou Harris, The Everly Brothers and Eric Clapton. He was famous for pioneering fingerstlye and hybrid picking techniques on electric guitar. Hi signature guitar has been around for a while now, and I've always like the shape: kinda like a Strat, if it were on The Jetsons. Music Man's USA-made offerings are always extremely tidy in terms of build quality, and this is no exception: amazing wood selection, very tidy woodwork, great finish work, quality hardware... it's a seriously impressive piece of equipment. The neck is solid rosewood, which adds a bit of low-end oomph to the sound and feels fantastic in the hand. It's a pretty skinny shape, which will be familiar to EBMM fans, and plays very evenly all the way to the top frets. The Dimarzio pickups are reasonably hot, so there's heaps of sustain and natural bass on tap, paired with a balanced, expressive midrange and a chirpy clear top end. The five-way switch offers some split coil sounds alongside the HB tones, so it covers plenty of ground. The walnut finish lets the gorgeous grain of the mahogany body do the talking; it looks super classy. I really like this, it's very impressive. And, the shape: so cool.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and top edge and some scuffs on the bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear and dimples only. The back has scuffs on the bottom horn and elbow area and some dimples along the back and bottom edge. The sides have dimples on the top horn, scuffs in the elbow area and some dimples near the jack and bottom horn. The front has dimples on the bottom horn, near the jack  and near the rear strap pin, scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (8.5/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 7/10, some normal wear inc minor pitting, playing smoothly with no major buzz issues
