Fender '57 Reissue Strat, made in Japan 1987, vintage white. These 80s Fujigen-made Strats have a reputation for being brilliant players, and this one is a perfect example. The neck is a stunning piece of maple, it's aged to a lovely golden colour and feels exceptional in the hands. The liveliness of the body is instantly noticeable; every note really jumps out. The tone is tight and punchy, with heaps of attack and a sweet, articulate treble... it's pure Strat-goodness, a pleasure to hear. The finish has plenty of wear to show for it's 31 years on the planet... there's something superbly tasty about vintage white with plenty of miles on the clock; this has a perfect legit-relic look that oozes appeal. E-serial Strats are becoming very scarce, so adopt this little sweetheart before she gets too famous and gets a big head.

Cosmetic condition notes: moderate finish wear. There's a bit of tasty play-wear on the board, it's aged beautifully. The finish has some 'mottling' around the place, it's evenly spread around the body. There's some dings in the body-carve area, including one that's been patched up. There's a bunch of minor scratches in the buckle-rash zone, nothin major. There's some discolouration on the plastics and some minor pitting on some of the metal parts, but everything works fine. Overall: good condition (7/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some normal wear, but are fairly even in height, 6/10 for life left. Really lovely Strat!
