Fender '62 P, vintage white, crafted in Japan 1999-02. The white Precsion Bass... it's hard to imagine not getting along well with such an agreeable character. This one has seen a few things in it's time, but the creamy finish looks all the better for a few marks around the place. The classic tort/rosewood/white combo never goes out of style. This one is also amazingly light at 3.67kg; 8.08lbs for those stuck in the old ways... a good 20% lighter than a lot of Ps we get through. The body resonates with vibrant enthusiasm during play; it feels awesome and delivers a really tasty natural, balanced tone with a heap of nuance and sensitivity. If you're after a partner for hard work, this classically cool creature is surely a girl's best friend.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end and bottom edge. The neck has a few dimples on the back but is smooth in the hands. The back has a number of light scratches and small dimples but no major marks. The sides have a few things to note: dimples on the top horn, minor scuffs, chips and dents on the shoulder area, a repaired chip and a bunch of marks near the jack and some dimples on the bottom horn. The front is fairly clear, just the other side of the repaired chip near the jack, some dimples around the bridge and on the shoulder and some light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: good condition (7/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly, although the pickup height adjustment screws are a bit stiff. Frets look good, minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Set up with fresh 45/105 Moonshiners Strings.

This listing is an archived entry. We love to look back and remember fondly what characters we've had through the store, so we keep them around for reference.
