Fender '62 Strat in rebel yellow, made in Japan in 1986. Well... that's a loud finish! Such a beast could only hail from the eighties; this one dates to 13 August, 1986. E-serial MIJ Strats are becoming less common and more sought after; they're really only a year or two younger than the landmark JV-serial instruments, and as a rule, they play just as well. This one is perfect in the hands: sturdy, balanced, lively, quick and perfectly comfortable. The slim maple neck features some really stunning grain; that's a hallmark of this era: amazing wood selection. Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a couple of minor dings, one above the middle pickup and a pair behind the bridge. There's a few minor dings on the back too, and the backplate is missing. There's some standard aging on the chrome and plastics, it's got a nice smoky look. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have been a little wear, heaps of life left in them, 7/10. Sweet stuff.
